Academy's Hand Rail Speed Fittings (or 'slip on rail' connectors) are made of an extremely corrosive resistant aluminum cast giving a light weight, durable, long lasting, rust proof pipe frame joint. These piping fasteners are available in three sizes for 1-3/8", 1-5/8" and 2in (outside diameter or 'nominal') round pipe and accommodate any metal pipe frame joining angle. They can be used to quick speed connect any round metal pipe including aluminum, steel and iron. Each quick rail speed fitting slips on and comes with a set screw to secure the pipe in the fitting. No threading, bending, or welding is needed.
